We are a family of 4 from Cairns in the magical Far North Queensland, Australia.

We made the decision to create McKean Adventures as a way for others to follow our journey of our love of the outdoors and be a place where you can purchase the products we love, and have tried and tested ourselves with honest reviews.

At the beginning of 2021, we made the decision to purchase a Jayco 16ft Cross Trak as we love our camping and like most other campers, have a strong dislike for the rain along with the hassle of the set up and pack up. We have gone from easily 5 hour set up with 2 young kids at our feet to a half hour set up still with 2 young kids at our feet, crazy!

What gave us our motivation to begin our blog was a way to share our dreams, adventures and products with others who may have not have quite found that magical waterfall, that amazing camping spot or that product you never knew existed!
